King James Version
10 When my father and my mother forsake me,
then the Lord will take me up.
I was studying something on Qatar early this morning, when SPIRIT led me to a particular section about a premature baby being abandoned at Doha airport:
"On 2 October 2020, Qatari authorities strip-searched 13 Australian women on a plane at Hamad International Airport over a premature baby found in a bathroom at the terminal. This caused an international incident with Australia."

So I looked deeper, being appalled at such a report.
It turned out the baby came from Asian parents, except it seemed they had an "illicit" affair.
The father's identity was revealed from a DNA test.
It seems Qatar requires migrant workers to submit themselves to blood samples.
The mother had wrapped her baby in a plastic bag, thrown the poor child in a bin, "under the garbage', and left it in an airport bathroom.
Obviously, she wanted the child to die, and remain undiscovered.
Hoping she'd be free of the child forever.
Thing is, she texted the father that she was going to "dump" the baby.
It is possible this was from a combination of fear, anger, and panic.
Surely, from the text to the father, her identity was established.
But she had fled.
Criminal charges have been filed against her.
I have not updated myself on her whereabouts, or if she's been found at all, but perhaps I'll look into it.
As GOD would have it, the baby was found by authorities, and given the care she needed.
I was looking for an update on the child's condition today -- four years after -- but had found nothing yet.
But GOD made the baby girl survive, despite the abject conditions she was put in.
She truly is a "miracle" child.
Another layer to this incident was what many women had to go through, as authorities quickly "hunted" for whoever the mother is.
Women were "rounded" up, from several flights, to their great terror.
Understandable, as they saw authorities with guns who boarded the planes.
They thought they were being kidnapped, or something.
What more when they were taken to ambulances to be examined if they had "given birth".
And while being examined, their mind raced with "what ifs".
What if the female doctor "decided" they were the mother?
What was foolproof?
They were in another country.
They got really scared.
It was PURE trauma alright.
To this day, their trauma remains.
They filed suit, but as of April 2024, the Australian women were unsuccessful in getting the response they wanted from Qatar officials.
They felt humiliated, "invaded", and terrorized.
From one couple's "sin", many were caught in their web of trouble.
Being born again helps us become aware of sin, and its consequences.
Knowing GOD's laws help us live acceptable lives to the LORD.
And to live rightly with others.
A born again will flee from sin.
And thus, avoid dragging others into it.
My heart really goes to those who can't speak for themselves.
Such as this newborn baby who was unwanted, and "dumped".
We, born again, are here in behalf of the LORD JESUS.
Who would want us to speak for them.
We really must care for the "little" ones.
It is all our duty to do so.
