Genesis 4: 9-10
King James Version
9 And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother?
And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?
10 And he said, What hast thou done?
the voice of thy brother's blood
crieth unto me from the ground.
That's probably one of the most haunting verses ever.
It should haunt, and frighten, every one of us who live in this world.
When GOD demands, "What hast thou done?", we should tremble.
And when He says, "the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground", we will not know where to hide.
Our thoughts, words, and deeds are laid bare before the LORD.
He created all, knows all, and sees all.
In a world gone mad -- no thanks to Satan -- we have all gone about our ways.
Many think nothing of taking another person's life, whether it's that of an unborn child's, or a perceived enemy.
Do all of us have blood on our hands?
Perhaps.
Every time we condone atrocious acts of others, we are part and party to their crime.
Every time we think of war, not peace, we are part of the consequences, too.
Every time we hatch plans against another, are we not endangering their lives, and our souls?
Every time we convince others to be part of our evil "cause", we include them in our crime.
And every time we hate our brothers, apostle John states:
1 John 3:15

15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer:
and ye know that no murderer
hath eternal life abiding in him.
Man does not know peace, because he does not know JESUS.
Only the PRINCE of PEACE can teach us peace.
He has lived a life of peace.
He was a Lamb taken to slaughter.
Through His blood, at the cross, He became our trespass offering.
Through the life He lived, we now know how to live, too.
Through His example, we have no more excuse to sin.
He conquered death, sin, and the devil.
All because GOD sent JESUS to save us.
That's how much the LORD loves us.
John 3:16-17
King James Version
16 For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world
to condemn the world;
but that the world through him
might be saved.
Despite our willfulness, GOD continues to love us.
Every day we're alive is an opportunity to love GOD, to know JESUS, to know GOD's will, to obey His commands, and to love others.
JESUS showed us how.
We have the perfect pattern in CHRIST.
We cannot continue as we do now, acting wildly, hypocritically, and not thinking about the gravity of our actions.
Our souls are at stake.
And yet, GOD's invitation for eternal life, is just there for the taking.
Why do we refuse so?
Has Satan corrupted us so much, we can barely think?
Has he so clouded our thinking, we are totally lost?
Has he set his claws upon us, our souls are crushed?
Self cannot do it.
We don't have the power for change.
We need JESUS.
John 15:5

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches:
He that abideth in me, and I in him,
the same bringeth forth much fruit:
for without me ye can do nothing.
He commands we be "born again", that GOD's SPIRIT may be in us.
John 3:3-8
King James Version
3 Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him,
How can a man be born when he is old?
can he enter the second time
into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,
and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:
so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
I delight in the HOLY SPIRIT.
He makes me understand Scripture.
He tells me everything about CHRIST.
He explains GOD's commandments clearly.
When you're born again, you do not question GOD's laws.
You stick close to Him, as a child would.
Obedience to GOD becomes
your ONLY nature.
The world ceases to seize you.
The world has no more hold over you.
The world's lies are totally exposed before you.
You cannot be derailed from your path anymore.
Your desire is eternal life with JESUS.
You walk the path with the King of Kings:
John 14:6

6 Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Matthew 7:13-14

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate:
for wide is the gate, and broad is the way,
that leadeth to destruction,
and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way,
which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 16:24-26
King James Version
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples,
If any man will come after me,
let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it:
and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited,
if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
In a cursed, weary, wicked, and wanton world, the way is clear.
Just FOLLOW JESUS.
He is the WAY.
